Bribery

And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous. Exodus 23:8 And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name [was] Delilah. And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength [lieth], and by what [means] we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred [pieces] of silver. 

 Judges 16:4-5And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment. 1 Samuel 8:3 Behold, here I [am]: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received [any] bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. 1 Samuel 12:3 [There is] a league between me and thee, [and] between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; come and break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me. 

 1 Kings 15:19 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws [are] diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it [is] not for the king's profit to suffer them. If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring [it] into the king's treasuries. Psalms 26:9-10 A wicked [man] taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. Proverbs 17:23 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. Proverbs 18:16 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath. Proverbs 21:14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift [is like] clouds and wind without rain. 

 Proverbs 25:14 To have respect of persons [is] not good: for for a piece of bread [that] man will transgress. Proverbs 28:21 The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it. Proverbs 29:4 Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart. Ecclesiastes 7:7 And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. 

 Daniel 5:16-17 Thy princes [are] rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. Isaiah 1:23 He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; Isaiah 33:15 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate [from their right].
